A quick test of a newly acquired vintage Pentacon 50mm f1.8 lens mounted on a Sony a6000 body using focus stacking to increase the depth of field. I like the initial results and look forward to exploring further what can be done with this lens. A sunny and dewy morning should produce great bokeh.

Stopped to take this photograph whilst driving across Dartmoor in Devon.
These ponies live in a semi-wild state on Dartmoor. They are a small and hardy breed able to withstand the harsh weather of the moorland. They have lived in this corner of southwest England for centuries and, in the past, been put to work in local mines and quarries.

A bed, looking a bit sad and creepy, covered with a few of the thousands of items collected by the former owners of Calke Abbey, Derbyshire in the days when taxidermy was a respectable form of house decoration.
